After long time escort user, I finally converted my dad to switch to a Valentine 1. thanks to JTW's Videos! I sold him my valentine 1, Version 3.821 PoP2.. I just bought another valentine 1 today, and what i was wondering was this: Is the "J" falsing problem, fixed in the newer models? Also, is the new Euro Mode included? Are there any other tweekings/updates you guys know about in the future for V1?

Yes, the false "J" is supposed to have been corrected in the latest software release. You can go to the VR website |Upgrade| and put in the serial number off of your V1 and it will tell you if your V1 has the euro mode. If you just recently purchased your V1 then you probably have the latest model with pop 2 and euro mode. What Mr. Mike has in mind for future improvements is anyones guess. But I would think that improved pop detection and RDD invisibility would be high on the list.

I would bet that the cosmetics on the V1 will change.... you might see an entirely different look with V1.9, as well as even better features.

i was thinkin that they should put a good size LCD screen in, that reads Ka, K, X, Laser. Similar to the 8500, but bigger. It would also have a strength bar, and the all famous bogey counter. You could slap this right between the volume knob, and the arrows:)... just a thought!
