hi and welcome to the forum, I will just suggest you read and read and read....all the info you require is in this forum...my choice is the RX65... I would get a V1 if they wer smaller.

cheers

I would recommend the V1 or the X50. Personally I use the V1 and could not be happier with it. Its laser detection ability is on a league of its own

As hard as it might be to believe, the Valentine One, 16.2 cu. in., is smaller than the Escort X50, 18.95 cu. in., and the Bel RX65, 16.32 cu. in. The Valentine is wider, but it is shorter and not as high which gives you more mounting options. As you can see, the Escort is the biggest of the three. On top of that, the V1 weighs less than the Rx65 and the X50.

thanks Easy, I was just about to mention that the V1 is smaller than the X50 and RX65. Good call.

Of course, my recommendation is the V1... the question is, how much are you willing to spend? If you can afford 400.00, buy the V1. If you can afford 370.00, buy a V1 from ebay or call V1 and ask for a refurbished unit.

If you can afford 300.00, buy what Roy has to offer.
