Enthusiasm? Are you kidding? My tongue is hanging down to the floor. I am like Roger Rabbit in heat yet can't get some! It goes way beyond enthusiasm since I "know" how well the 9500ci and STi-R will perform in particular on K and Ka band.

Another perk of the remote installs, I hear the build quality is top notch. Which makes sense, lower supply should give them adequate time to hand tune these puppies.

I disagree. V1 is $400, good jammer is $450-1000 and the GPS functionality is worth about $100 by it's self. Plus it's brand new, enthusiasts will pay anything for the best, and it's very attractive right now

As far as the sticker price for the 9500ci I think it's reasonable for all you're getting but it's still, no matter how you slice it, a lot of money so it's understandable for people to be apprehensive about buying it :)

I'll do my best, but I surely do not want to bug them or slow them down. This is assuming that I can get done with my customer up in Berkeley that I am flying up to see tomorrow. If I'm still up in NoCal, you might just get the finished product. If all I have to do on Friday is paperwork, you can bet I will be doing it in the lobby of the stereo shop with camera in tow! 8)

I'm a Field Service Engineer for a automated chemistry equipment manufacturer. Basically, I go to labs that have our instruments and fix them when they break. I also install new ones and train the chemists how to run them, if they're newbies. :wink:

Well, at least it's here now. I spent about an hour talking to the installer today and we've got the whole thing decided. The grill will be painted on Monday and the installation completed by Tuesday evening.

Thank you kind sir. I'm so stoked! I'll surely let you know what I think. I'm taking a road trip to Las Vegas next weekend and I will be running my V1 at the same time. I would expect a good amount of CHP action, so this should give me a good idea of how they compare against Stalker radar. I'm mounting the 9500ci's radar antenna up high in the grill, so as to maintain as much radar sensitivity as possible. We'll see how it does.

Oh color does matter ask Staton who owns a red Transam while Jim owns a black one. Jim's base runs are around 800' while Staton's are 2000+! <y car's problem is shape of bumper (flat as hell)

fck that car and it's 93 octane. but I couldn't believe a car with no headlights, veil on the little tiny fog lights would get PT at 2K+. Jims black one is stealthy with nothing.
