Today I was driving and got an interesting sounding alert. It was K and instead of typical ramp up type of alert I could 2 short bursts then it stopped then 2 short bursts then stopped.
I did notice a new Audi A5 coupe, I wonder if it had radar cruise control or something else.

On what kind of radar detector? :confused:

Sounds like an Leo using instant on in range of your rd. Lots of times LEO's approaching from the rear using instant on will alert like this.

Believe me it was not an IO type of alert, it was 2 short bursts at a time, typically IO is like 1 burst then goes away then 1 again.
I am still thinking a audi cruise control guidance system or something, since I saw a brand new A5 coupe in my mirror.

Interesting... never experienced like you describe with 2 burst. I bet if it happens again you will be looking for a audi to validate the suspicion. I know if it happens to me what Im looking for to. thanks for sharing.
