An undercover white chevy truck was in the median making a U-turn. Well I was coming that way. And BOOM KA full blast. I looked around and then the alert went away. Well the truck got beside me and then instant on-ed someone else. I looked and it was a cop with all kinds of stuf on the windshield. And it also had the cage seperating the back seat from the front.. Im glad I wasn't speeding because there was no defense to this situation.

IO is much deadlier than laser IMHO, especially when used by the experienced LEO. This is especially true if you are the only vehicle on the road at the time. The IO lock can be obtained in well under a second.

Got shot by I/O the other day in a construction zone. Sneaky bugger was over a hill so RDs can't get a reading on him. Some LEOs just know how to beat the technology.

Definitely. It keeps things "real" as well. It weeds out the smart RD user from the ones who think that they are invincible.

^This is why you should slow down when approaching hills and curves because they use that tactic numerous times.

Yes since getting laser jammers installed on all my vehicles, IO radar is my biggest threat. Luckily in the Atlanta area they prefer Lidar. Even in non rush hour traffic there is still a lot of c.ars on the road, so for that reason I presume they prefer Lidar. Once you get about 25 miles outside the perimeter you start to get radar and IO scares the pants off you
I've been fortunate to have my rabbit take the I/O shot for me on numerous occasions. I won't run open without one. And when doing only 5-10 over the PSL with traffic I barely flinch from I/O since I usually get at least 1 or 2 advance alerts by the time the LEO is within range of me.

no thats why you get a 9500ci or sti-r! haha
I feel it might be as close as two times the chances of picking up I/O radar over the V1 or STI. Deffinatly over the STI.

yeah i don't, for example at night if I can see the running rear lights then I will speed up until I get real close to them and go 10 over until I see another set of headlights. That way I know that I will get the alert if that car is target.
Its not as reliable as a pure rabbit but still the same concept, and it satisfy's me pretty well and never had a problem.
