View Full Version : bel 995, does it pick ka pop as well as k pop?

anyone with info on these please w/b. yes ive read speedzones.com on 3 tries, maybe their unit was defective, second radartest.com says 80 percent. ive been popped and its worked in cocoa bch fl but mine was from a stationary cocoa bch, using 33.8 on tech mode, popped, then ka and back and forth, sure enough around the corner on a1a i see 2 units using 33.8 pop radar. i just wonder why some people write it doesnt pick up? did they not activate it or something? its close to the bel rx65 according to many other than a few specifications. anyone???????

I would trust CP test more. SML they are comeing out as a joke this year affter theY postted the PoP MODE RESULTS DONT WORRY THE V995
AND ALL THE BEL UNITS THAT COME WITH Pop do detect that kind of radar :wink:

The next Radar detector test where the Ka Pop gun is available i will be sending my BEL 995 as long as it doesn't interfear on my trip home from school

I don't trust CP or SML, with all of the BS floating around out there, I guess I just have to see test results with their own eyes before I believe anything.
Though we didn't test it a GOL, I would expect the V995 to be consistent with the other Belscort units as far as POP detection.
