XX.357 freq...

On the interstate tonight I got hit with what seemed like I/O and the display was XX.357. I don't remember if it was K or Ka or what the #'s to the left were :o

I'm just getting used to looking at the freq. display.

The V-1 didn't make a peep :eek:

I also got hit with laser (True save I believe) and the V1 was silent until he swung around and shot me in the back :rolleyes:

So what is .357?

That's not ringing any bells with me. 10.525, 24.15, 33.8, 34.7, 35.5. Perhaps a Cobra?

I'm about positive it was .357. I'm not good with #'s so the only reason I remembered is because of .357 magnum...

It was a full ramp up alert. The same thing happened earlier but I didn't get the freq.

Having more data gives you more to ponder...

I love spec mode too, I just wish threatmode and specmode didn't require 2 RDs from the same manufacturer :p

My guess, it was a Cobra, probably 35.3 or 34.3, going more with the former. Not sure if the Ka on an RX75 will go to 33.3?

Is the volume on your RX75 low, or you just don't remember the alert it gave?

I just don't remember:rolleyes: It was a short burst with a quick high ramp-up.

The V1 didn't peep. Come to think of it it was Ka because I remember really wondering why the V1 didn't alert and thinking that it couldn't be because of the heat because that cooks K band.

Yep, it was Ka band.
