laser shield will help but only for laser and will not be much help unless a jammer is present

I've been stopped a few times thanks to *very* smoked covers. No need to draw unnecessary attention, and no they don't really help against radar/laser. Only jammers work against laser. If your worried about cameras, try another route like a 9500 series Escort or a Cheetah Mirror.

If you live in a state like florida than it doesn't hurt to try. I have a tinted plate which makes it hard to see on most camera systems (not to avoid tolls though). Looks better too.
