I know, I know, it kills your stealthiness mojo but I'd like to do a colored CD RV install.

Anyone fooled with it?

I was thinking about making a template by scanning the CD face and printing it onto contact paper. The only glitch I can foresee is the fact that it's an auto-dim mirror.

Input, ideas?

I just ordered a mirror.

Anyone ever taken one of the gentex mirrors apart?

Just an update. I've rounded up all the stuff for this project. Weird hole punchers, low-tack template material, and some stuff called MSR which removes mirror "silvering".

Preliminary template testing is going pretty well...

The mechanics that installed my LI also offer this service. I never did check it out though. I would be curious to know where they mount the antennas.
