Fritter

I have a Talon mounted on my bike. It's forward facing and it's tricky to use so mostly I use my laser.

Being on a bike I am higher then the surrounding cars and I can see inside. Every time I see a detector mounted on the window I will slide into the blind spot of the car, so I can see the detector, and turn on my radar.

The driver usually freaks out(we are normally going 10 over, normal flow of traffic) and hits the breaks. After looking around for me, and not finding me, he will speed up again. I hit him again......

The fun never stops.

Yes. And what we have taken to doing is partnering up. One on the laser and one on the radar. When I encounter a jammer, or thing I do, my partner hits it with the radar.

Seems to be working out pretty good.

I have found that dark colored cars with no front LP are hard to get a fix on even without counter measures.

Hey fritter,
how do you feel when someone jams your lidar reading but slows down to psl and turns it off so u can get a reading. Do you laugh and smile knowning that idiot spend good money for that moment or do you get mad and find ways to go get them.

Its good to know I'm not the only one that does that. What is the purpose of having a laser gun if your friend has a radar gun right next to you?

Do you actually run across enough jammers to worry about tactics like this? I almost never see cars with detectors and have never seen another one with jammers.

I think he's just having fun like we do with our counter measures :D

In my 5 or so years of radar, I have only seen a 6-series bimmer with an srx setup. I spotted the rear jammer. I borrowed a member's lidar gun to shot ducks for a week and I didn't notice any car with a jammer. So hOw often u find a car with a jammer to run both radar and lidar. I would also think the driver will slow down After being hit with lidar. If they don't, they deserve to get a ticket.

I believe his reasons is... it's not because of jammers, it's because sometimes is hard to get a reading on some cars...

Be careful out there Fritter... you are admittedly in their blind spot, so you never know what these people will do... the last thing you need is getting smacked into by one of them.

Well those people failed in the first place by not seeing the Moto-PoPo in the rearview.

About seeing jammers, I had never seen a single one until I moved to SoFla and now I lost count... probably at about 20 or so in a year of looking when I first moved here (and thats only parked cars). I don't really look anymore though unless its a badass car.

In all honesty, its the last place you ever want to be on a bike...

Fritter ....yur the devil on 2 wheels :D

At which distance do you start to suspect
the target is equipped properly ?

Does the law allow you to stop/search the car for jamming device
in your state ?

Here , they can go up to tow the car / dismantle it untill they find
something ....if they find nothing ....
it is up to the driver's wallet to fix the car

If you read his old posts///
he doesn't have to searchto know, when readings can't be acquired in a vehicle, he fires I/O or aim from the rear ;)...
Remember, it's not the device that gets you in trouble, it's JTG

Its unfortunate that people had to prove Fritter wrong and show him that jammers work.

People will have to learn to keep their mouths shut and let cops keep thinking countermeasures do not work.

I am so glad to hear this news.

Radar detectors and laser jammers don't work.

Ok, I get it.

Thanks for the information officer.

Just move along now.

Nothing here to see....
