They have aircraft Vascar courses all over our interstates. You will see the 3 white lines across the road and a brown sign with white letters that displays Speed Checked by Aircraft.

Well at least they are nice and let you guy's know, down here in florida they are not as curtious, we have to look for the the tell tell white strips and the aircraft sticking close to the interstate. LOL I wish police would post signs that they are using POP. LASER. etc.

I run across 3-4 sets i think 3. I run 77 to 81 from charlotte to roanoke.

I have yet to see air enforcment in effect. However I do tend to run the trip at night when I go.

Looks like most of their flights must be VFR, since very little IFR is showing up on Flightaware's website.

So I'm not the only one who uses that Flightaware stuff! I love that. Goes great with my new scanner since I live 5 minutes from KDAL.

On a road here (A20) there are 2 lanes separated by a narrow median with double guardrails. The pavement covers the 2 lanes and that is about it (not much shoulder space. Yet there are signs that say "Aerial Surveillance" and I've never seen white lines or anything. Or a helo in the sky... :?
