Last night was the 1st time I used my x50. I been checking out this sight for the past month and with post from the Gol guys and Radar roy I decided to go with the x50. So being new years eve the cops were out! So everytime I got a hit I rest my milage to track distance. 2 real speed traps where on k band and I got 1.2 and a 1 mile warning before I passed the cops. Didn't even see until I was right on the. Then my x50 caught 3 of 3 ka speed traps. One was from 1.5 miles away with the cop sitting on the opposite side of the road facing the other way! One 1 mile was under a over pass. The street goes down about 30 feet under a over pass and the x50 caught it! Last but not least my x50 picked up a 1.3 mile speedtrap with the cop sitting on the side of the road around a curve. Me and 2 cars were all ligned up going bout 60 in a 45. I got that 2bar ka band and hit the breaks. The civic and mustang flew by me. By the time I got to where the cop was he had the mustange pulled over. Yeah great way to start 2006! I got a little worried when everybody was bashing the x50 ka range before I bought it, but with a 1.5 mile detec, all worries are gone!

Cool!! The ka problems that the X50 seemed to be just a isolated issue...Some had problems while some people had great Ka detection...Good to hear that you enjoy it!! Welcome to the site!!! There's a ton a great info and great people as well

The V-1 is suppose to be the better detector. :D

For a 100 more it better be. I'm just saying that if the v1 can get a 2 mile detec on ka and my x50 can get a 1.5 mile detec, that's still going to be a hell of alot of time be able to slow down. Next time you out track and see how long 1.5 of a mile really is. You can be going 20 to 30 over and still have plenty of time to slow done to the speed limit.

Its sure is nice to here that the X50 is still doing its job. I just wish I did not sell my X50.

You sold your x50. Say it aint so! What you sell it for?

Do both of these detectors have the multiple alert detection the V-1 has?

I sold it for $250 needed the cash to fix my wheels.

I really do wish I had not sold it but needs always come before wants for me.

There will be other detectors in Radar Boys future maybe even a Sti driver but at the Very least a X50 again.

I'am also taking a second look at a brand new V 995 [PENDING MY OWN TEST RESULTS.]

Well the rx65 has 1k 1ka 1kx but the x50(my baby) has 2k 2ka 4x multiy threat.

So does your X50 which is a Passport or BEL has pick up multiple signals at the same time?
I bought a V-1 and am noticing I'm getting more falses on X and K band and a few on KA and laser but more is on the k band. :(

The X50 will track and display (each with its seperate signal strength) 2Ka signals, 2K signals, 4X band signals all at once (when the display is used on expertmeter).

Is a demonstration of this that shows this in operation?

what i think he's trying to say AirMoore is " Is there a demonstration (vid) of this showing its function in action"

Oh alright I see now I couldnt tell what they was trying to say...

Anycase (I personally dont have any videos) but the picture ES13Raven shows the display with 2Ka,2K,4X band signals at full strength.

Visually that may be up to the V-1 maybe easy to view but I learn what the tones are so I don't have to even look. But i still have to see if there are multiple targets.

Not trying to be rude but, is there a point trying to be made here LS2. If so, please elaborate.
