Gettin' ready

Hey, I'm gettin' ready for a road trip also. Gonna fly to Houston, to pick up a "friend" :wink: and then driving I-10 from Houston to Jacksonville, FL, then down 95 to Titusville.

It's in March, so I got a couple months, but what's the shape of I-10 along the coast? Bringing the V1 with me, so I'll be prepared, but is there anything/anyplace I should be extra cautious?

i drove that route twice and i hardly found any cops

the first time, when we were crazy fools, we set the cruise to 100mph most of the time, was using the regular 8500.... didnt get any cops

2nd time around we didnt drive so fast, between 75-85 with the X50, did not get any laser just Ka and K

What's the current status of the road as far as post-hurricane stuff goes?

I drove the same route last summer. I saw more FHP near Tallahassee on I-10 than any where. I then took I-75 South to Ocala and State 40 across to I-95, and down to Daytona. I also saw FHP on I-75 near I-10.
