Another choice would be your Bel 985. I have been keeping my eye out for one. The accusweep is a must test after the recent RX65 Usa/Intl results.

eh, they are still out there, actually saw one on dredded ebay, Ciruit City has a store on there getting rid of discontinued open boxed items. Saw a brand spanking new one for sale, it sold for $120 - $150 bucks, cant remember exactly. My 985 is a good one, and feel confident in its ability to weed out a trap just in time, and in other cases more than enough time. But these recent GOL test sure have confirmed other users praises for the rx65. Now its just a matter of getting a unit that does not underperforms. The variation in performance sucks.
I was also hopeing they test a 985 with Accusweep, I know from the last GOL testing the 985 was equal to X50 (in that testing at least).

Looks like both of my E795 units were not defective after all. Both of those dogs did'nt hunt. Oh well, still in search for a backup.

From the site;
Spectre/VG2 - BEL STi
We tested the BEL STi against the Spectres and the latest VG-2 unit provided by Radar Roy. Neither Spectre reported the presence of the STi at any distance, even when both vehicles were bumper to bumper, with the RDDs set to maximum sensitivity!
The STi detected the LO leakage from the Spectres, giving a Ka alert when it got very close
how close was the spectre when it alerted to Ka????
Did anyone test the golden falcon K band unit?? these are everywhere here...interested to see how the sti went compared to the RX65!

Pretty close. About 1 or 2 car lengths between the front of the two test cars used is when the STI alerts Ka.

For that information, you must either dontate to GOL or purchase a DVD :lol: :lol: :lol:
just kidding...
All detectors were mounted high on the windshield, with a clear view of the road. Each detector was mounted in the same place for testing, and was mounted straight and level.
