I have a whistler pro 73 I was wondering how good this unit is compaired to the other top brand radar detectors for its LASER capabilites.

The V1 is the best. I don't know if you know but you have virtually no chance unless you are very very lucky of getting a laser warning! :( It's more like instead of saying "laser" it should say start pulling over.... :cry:

My favorite- your radar dector is basically a "ticket notifier" when Laser goes off. :cry:

I have a whistler pro 73 I was wondering how good this unit is compaired to the other top brand radar detectors for its LASER capabilites.
Based off of my testing on my PRO 58 when I was at the August testing with GOL It detected laser the same distance as my V1 did on the road we used.
The road we used for testing was over a 1/4 mile long.
Even when I was driving away from the laser gun it still detected it all the way to the end of the road. I was amazed at how well it did detect laser.
