bel 795 vs whistler pro 58

the beltronics express 795 was rated very well- how does it compare to the whistler pro 58? Is it an old model? I know it does not have POP but is that important when even the V1 could not detect the new POP. Which one would you get? Why.

I'd probably go with the Whistler. The Bel Express 795's have had some problems with consistancy between runs. Some seem to be quite good, some quite bad. The Whistler products though are very consistant. Whistler's product support is also first rate, Bel - not so much.

In my eyes it's an easy choice: The whitler pro-58

I have the 1793SE, and I owned a beltronics V895 (big brother of the 795). The V895 and the 1793 are very evenly matched, whith the V895 having better Ka, but the whistler destroying the bel in laser. Both of them pick X and K at similar distances. The pro 58 is the same chassis as the pro 73 and 1793SE, so performance is basically the same. The Bel 795 is a step down of the 895. So, I say take the whistler.

I bought mine there. It was so cheap it would even be worth it to have to pay the restock fee.
