Default What fuse to hardwire Bel Vector 995 ?

    Hello everybody,

First I would like to congratulate you for this excellent forum.
I'm a newbie but a new owner of a Bel Vector 995 : what a great radar detector.

I would like to hardwire from my fusebox.
I would like to use the fuse for Blower/air conditioning : it's a switched power source so it will go on only when the car is on and turns off when it is off !

    But I've bought a Littelfuse Add-a-circuit like this :

The fuse Slot A for blower/air conditioning is 25 A

    My question is :
What fuse in slote B (in A) do I need to protect my Bel V995 please ??

    Thanks you for your answers.

    Steffan, from Paris (France)

I am not totally understanding you question. Are you asking if you should use slot A or B? If so, I don't know. If you are asking what amp your fuse needs to be for the RD, I would use 3amp fuse (or whatever amperage fuse is used in the power cord)

Bel uses a 2 Amp fuse in their regular power cords.
