Default Circuit City or Mr. Roy?

Im all for supporting the independent people, but I have several many miles to travel next weekend and I would really like to try out the V955 im thinking of purchasing on the open road. I can go to the CC here in Tulsa and pick one up tomorrow, or I could buy it from Roy for free shipping and not have to deal with the extra $15 on tax. Besides the obvious spare cash, would there be any other benefit of waiting it out for Roy?

Like would I be sure to get the newest revision, or if not send it back and get one that is?

I strongly suggest not using any new RD on a fresh road trip. Take a week or two to familiarize yourself with the hardware. Then hit the road.

The new toy will be more useful as a tool once you get familiar with its engineering.

Valentine One, Blinder M47 "All Front Configuration"
    Pro97 Police Scanner
    1 Saves / 3 Strikes as of 8/22/2009
Estimated saves in U.S. Dollars: $200

Oh yeah, I know better than to just hook one up and run wild. Thats why I want it while traveling. Not so much to use it to my advantage, but to get to know the device first. Spend quality time with it, perhaps take it out to dinner.. You know.

It would be worth it to pay an extra $15 from roy. . . than buying from CC.

Roy is said to have exceptional Customer service!!

I think it's actually $15 cheaper to buy it from Roy. The tax would be from Circuit City.

I can vouch for Radar Roy as I have bought from both. If you value customer service, Radar Roy is the only place to go.

    +1
I can't vouch for Roy, but as a long time Circuit City customer I am going to shop elsewhere in the future.

Circuit City just layed off many employees because they claim that they are overpaid.
They will be replaced with lower wage workers.

Buy from the little guy when you can because America was built on small business.

Went ahead and bought from Roy. Customer service is kinda a big thing to me. And besides, I do like to help the individual out. Heres waiting on my new V955! Adios, Crapra.
