my old 955 had rx65 printed on the circuit board also
I can already see Michael B. posting "I told you so!" about the RX65 on the 995 PC board.

I haven't had my 985 apart for awhile but that speaker does look familiar to me too! When I first got mine, it sounded fuzzy. I hit it a few times near the speaker and it's been fine ever since.
I never run mine at full volume. "7" is loud enough for me.

How did your tests of the replacement speakers end up? I have a Bel 960 that probably needs to have its speaker replaced. At full volume its barely audible. Could I purchase a speaker from you?

How did the speakers work? My RX-55 speaker is blown, earphone works fine.

That's interesting Mem-tek. I need to replace the speaker on the inside of my 995 too. It's just not loud enough.
