Yeah, thanks to this site I think Belscort is "phasing out" the user-viewable rev numbers.
    Yeah, I heard that too.

How about Bel lisatening to what the users want in a detector like ramp ups and alert tones instead of hiding rev numbers...LOSERS!!

This will be the last Bel i ever buy I think.

The thing that pi$$es me off with this "fix" is that Bel won't make it public. So those of us that are past the 1 year warranty lose out on what basically is a factory recall.

Hey Bel here are a few suggestions.....

    1) Fix this bug for everyone that has the STi for free.

    2) Fix the ramp up issue. If this is the way it was designed then it needs adjusted so that it is linear. This would make it much more useful in judging distance, urgency, etc. And add a IO alert.

    3) Listen to the customer because the customer is always right.

I love my STi, but I swear this will be the last Bel product I buy if Bel doesn't do this right!!!! We already talked about setting up an online petition and that might have to happen if we don't get satisfaction with this issue.

The STi doesn't have an IO alert? My RX65 does. Not that IO alerts are very useful, IMHO.

This is correct sir...no IO alert on the STi. It's really not that important of a feature, but it can come in handy. I just threw it in there as part of my wish list.

When the 33.8 fix come out will they make it public and give a free upgrade or do you have to complain and then maybe they will help you out.

Why don't manufactures put reps on here?
