I have my STi hardwired above the RVM right now, but I was wondering if that would be enough to avoid visual detection. I do not have tinted windows, and my visor is set up so that the detector will not be able to see the road when the visor is up. Anyone know how likely it is for cops in VA to see it?
Also in case they do see it, I plan on taking it down while they are pulling me over (and let them see me do it). I would then be waiting holding the detector and say something along the lines of: "Im sorry officer, I completely forgot these were illegal, here you go" and hand it over. Of course, I would hand over my 10 year old whistler instead of the STi. This seems a bit risky though, so I was wondering if anybody here has actually pulled it off.

, and I ain't cop at all as cops enjoy looking into MVs while cruising along, while "things" inside a cd holder is extremely usual and LEGAL!!! Every 3rd MV is got a cd holder with cds stuffed in it, you're not saying that cops now are gonna suspect any MV that runs a cd holder around the sun visor, are you?
I wish I had no incentives to be so experienced at this particular subject, but what else can I do
