    Default Nice saves today

i got about a 800+ meter warning on Ka 34.7. the cop was at the end of a straight on the other side of the motor facing North and i was heading South. he had is rear antenna fired up C\O.

the STi detected a rear facing antenna 800 meters despite the antenna being pointed in the opposite direction.

also got a save while overtaking a slow car i was going 115 in a 100 and managed to pull in behind another car when a Highway patrol car came rolling around the corner on Ka 34.7

the STi is extremely good at sniffing out faint Ka band, i've had an alert and the copy wasnt even on the same road as me

heres an attempt at displaying the 800m alert, wasnt a save because he was on the other side of the road. but still. His radar is running on rear antenna not forward.

arrows indicated the direction of travel, the COP was stationary.

Very nice range. I have similar results with my STi; its excellent at picking up Ka band, even from behind. Yesterday I had a run on with I/O and C/O Ka band and the STi performed awesome!

STi picks up 34.7 quite well - in fact most Bel/escorts pick this up well.

damm that sucks. Thats exactly how i got my only ticket, that same scenario.

Thats why i'm always always cautious on thos types of roads. (2 laned) but sorry about that, those are the situations ive been talking about. Worst case scenario
