STi-R vs Cobra Detection

Just wanted to start a thread to measure distances to cobra detectors. I had one today at a 1000 yds estimation. I'm running the STi-R 2,5,8 on rdr off and have notice Ka signals before then saw Cobras approaching. Today in light traffic had a Ka alert started looking then finally spotted the Cobra mount in the oncoming car from signal to visual was a good 1000ft. That's pretty darn sensitive who can beat it? Post to Boast.

Quarter mile off the rear antenna. Remember with Ka-guard off on a V1 it turns into a Spectre. And what did GOL say about Cobras and RDD.

You read it wrong. I did the same thing at first. He's saying whats the maximum distance you have detected a cobra with an STI-R.

Yup your right, I misread it. I don't have an STI-R, I have picked up falses on an RX65 at 500 feet.
