Straight up!!!! rx65 USA or INTL????

Ok, I've been around for some time, and have read like all the posts on this subject, but I still have no clear answer. Which should it be on USA or INTL? Whats the down fall for using one over the other? Is there really that much of a difference (time wise), or could one really effect if I get a ticket or not? I'm sick and tired of kinda worrying about it, I wanna know the truth!!!!! I reseted my detector to see what version it was, it was the 4.5 and the default is set on INTL. I need to know which one I should use! Thank you for anyone that clears it up for me and gives me a striaght up answer!!!!!

I like Intl. But likely you won't have any issues with USA mode. Try both and see which ones you like. The fear behind USA Accusweep is that it could potentially miss a very-off-calibration radar, or a theoretical "Frequency hopping" Stalker unit that nobody knows of it's existance.

Only affects Ka.

USA Mode will give you more sensitivity on Ka.

The only Ka radar that it might miss are those outside of a +/- 100 MHz bandpass around each frequency. This is what K-Band's bandpass is, and nobody seems to be concerned about missing K-Band alerts.

The frequency-hopping Stalker was more than likely an idea that never made it to market...

If you use your RX65 in North America, use the Ka USA setting.

as you can see the frequncies do center around the big three Ka 33.8 GHz 34.7 GHz 35.5 GHz, however, to my disappointment, because of my first hand encounter with

33.491 and 33.693

from a florida trooper, on the turnpike, I am unable to use USA Accusweep, I really wish I could, even to get the smallest gain, I will have to wait for my next road trip to see if these number pop back up.



note, full sweep of the Ka wide, and highway mode have served me very well, generally 1 mile warning, granted those are on conditions on my partiular roads.
