It may just be me but I find my 8500 to be faster than my 8500 X50 and former Redline.

It's not just you. The 8500 has very adequate response time on K-Band........however, Ka seems to be on par with the X50 / RedLine / 9500ix.

I liked the 8500 alot, the only downside, I thought, was that they weren't so good on k band. Range wise, that is.... It may have been my particular rd though.

When we refurbish detectors for resale then we replace the serial number with a new number. When we refurbish a detector that you own then we keep your serial number. The label may be replaced but the same number will be printed on it.

Wow the RX-65 is like the golden bargain bullet. All tests I've seen are excellent and it is well priced for a baller-on-a-budget. My bro just got one as well
