The "American" model of the STI XR has been shown to be undetectable, and it stands to reasoning that the STI XR is only an STI that has "XR" written on the top...

The XR is the model made specifically for AU/NZ conditions.

    It is the STi with X band turned off :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

If you are silly enough to spend $1099.99 on one from a dealer in AU/NZ you need treatment

RadarRoy is expecting to receive his shipment from Bel this week.
My advice is to give him a call or email him regarding purchasing one and see what he can do for you, here is the link straight to the STi. http://www.radarbusters.com/products...sti_driver.asp

I have one on order and a couple of minutes ago, I took the big plunge and ordered a Blinder M20 to compliment my STi as well

Now I just have to intercept the CC statements before the missus or it will be a     time for me.

i was just interested if it works is all, no way i will spend that kind of money. hmm, it appears that some dealer links are allowed and others not, i was just trying to pass on what others are claiming as undetectable in the hope of a response

The STi/XR is completely undetectable to the Spectre/Stalcar III and all other Detector Detectors, it has been tested and proven to be so.

It looks like RDs in WA will be banned shortly so my advice is pay the extra money and get one now

once rd's are banned it's the end of the game. the fines will be huge and not worth the hassle, besides we all know its a matter of time b4 they can be detected. its my beleif that the best weapon against speed detectors is the brain my x50 has failed to beat me every time. however, should they decide to hide multanovas it might be different.

Thats why an STi is the go, the LO's from it are so low that to detect it there would be so much falsing in the RDD that it would drive the Police nuts

The fines are already pretty big where I am now, but I see the speed cameras as blatant revenue raising. Traffic only slows when they see one then speed right back up, sometimes even faster than before as they think it is now clear for them to do so.

If the Police were serious about slowing traffic, they should put a lot more Patrol cars on the road.

Having an RD does not mean you are going to speed every where, it has been shown that most RD owners are more aware of their surroundings and therefore safer drivers. But there is always one bad apple in the box, and thats all it takes to spoil them all in time.
