recently installed blinder. Several falses. Power issue?

I recently installed a blinder M20 on my 01 Honda CBR929rr. For now, I only have one in the front and nothing in the rear.

I have it mounted just below the front headlight.

I had factory turn signals that I replaced with some flush mount signals. The new signals do not use a running light so I used the power from the old running light to power the Blinder. I chose that so I would not accidentally leave the thing on and drain my battery if I hooked it up directly to the battery.

Took it out for it's first real ride yesterday since the install. I bet the thing went off 10 times yesterday in the span of about 50 miles.

Think it's a power issue?

definitely electrical due to this problem not being with the old lights

WEll shoot, I checked my connection last night and it felt a little loose, took it apart and redid it. Still getting the random beeps.
I think even though I didn't want to I'll try connecting it directly to the battery and take it for a ride.

Well, that did the trick. Went for about a 20 mile test run. After the initial 2 beeps, she stayed quiet the entire time.

Now I almost WANT it to beep someplace.
