Today's worthless Blinder test
Just to see what would happen if...
I put a Bullard color thermal imagining camera* to my Blinder M40 in test mode & running mode. The results: Nothing happened. No alert. Step two I triggered my Blinders in test mode with a TV controller. The results: could not see the Blinders firing back with the TI camera. Oh well, it was a fun experiment.
A TI camera sees only with heat, not reflected light. Sensitive to less than 1/10th of a degree. A VERY expensive 20K toy.
Heat is a longer wavelength than the IR that laser and Blinder use, so it makes sense that the camera would not pick up the Blinder. And since it picks up heat, the camera doesn't have to emit anything (IR light) to take a picture, thus nothing to trigger the Blinder either.
