Where to Mount the Blinder on a BMW Z4?

Hello guys

I'm new to the forum and the whole blinder veil stuff (I just received my shipment). I'd like to ask for a recommendation on where to mount the blinder (20) on a BMW Z4. I saw one guy in a Z4 forum mount it behind the grill (the grill between the BMW badge and the number plate) but I think that that will weaken the blinder as far as I understand how it works.

Hard to find a good spot to mount, but I would mount them verticle in your grill

Thanks for the fast answer. Does the angle matter i.e is it possible to really mount them between two of those sticks I would say with an angle of 70-80 degrees?

I did my install the last two days. However the position in the grill is horrible for a _must_ stealth installation. You see it from miles away, should have taken a black car

. Would to this installation below be a possible solution too? I would take the license plate away (red cross) and put it down (white rectangle) and mount the blinder in the yellow position. Veil on headlights. Would that work?

If you move the plate down, check to make sure you aren't blocking airflow for a radiator or cooler of some sort or something else important behind tha opening.

I would recommend against mounting the blinder that low, that will give you major punchthrough on the headlights.

It does not matter that the blinder is at a 60 and 70 degree angle.

I don't mean to contradict you Sethy, but in discussions with the owner of Blinder at the test.........I had asked if I could mount two of them vertically on my R1's forks and he told me "not" to mount them vertically.

If I were to change to a vertical mount he said it wouldn't work nearly as well. He said something to the effect that it has a wider range in degrees from side to side than it does from top to bottom.....or something like that. Changing to vertical would narrow the degrees too much to be really effective. That is if I understood him correctly.

Perhaps Leon could clarify.

Today I came across this installation of an Escort Shifter in a Z4. The shifters are ounted horizontally way back behind the grill, apparently porfessionally installed. Would that work for the Blinder too?

As for the picture of the blinder behind the grill, that will NOT work! It has to have clear line of site to the road to be effective. Whoever is driving around with that has a false sense of security..
