Ontario Laser : Which Brand/Model for PPO

August first 2005 ,

Any clue what PPO is using , they were '' working '' hard today on 401 west bound few miles/kms before Cornwall , one shooter + 4 chasers + plenty of customers .

What brand are they using ?

2 hours later , east bound , they were only one and one , the guy in front of me was invited to pull over , thanks to my , liev+02m , friends from Roy , and because i was following a bit slower but still was shot too, i kept my licence clean.RED RED full RED zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Looks like opp are having a lot of fun with their ray gun .Please do not spread the world , those friends are my best purchase in 30 years , and i want them unaware of them. Even 1-v is a chiwawa compare to my doberman , ahhhh this Leon .

I think they use a lot of Laser Atlanta guns, in Quebec there seem to be a lot of them too. If you look in t"he "Real Experiences" section there are some pictures of the unit. I'm wondering when the "resalitna" is coming out :wink:

To think we had someone in this forum claiming to be from Ontario stating counter mearsures were a waste of time as Ontario has very little "Speed Enforcement".... :roll:

Yes Laser Atlanta Speedmaster and the odd LT1 20/20 Marksman.
But, with the OPP's obsession with generating revenues for the Province I'm sure they are always looking for new toys....... :wink:

There are alot of LTI guns out in Canada. Way more then Laser Atlanta.

who use those? Local Police, SPVM, SQ?

I tought SQ Mostly used Radar

Yes and no , they are coming very strong with laser , at this present moment they are '' in pressure mode '' for a new work contract , so they take it easy , but the situation could change anytime .As for Ontario , i use this road 401 every 6 weeks and it was the first in 3 years i saw them using laser . An ounce of prevention...

:? I tought the SQ where lazy A$$ and just wanted to sit in there car with there Constan-ON Radar 8) (never seen a SQ Using Instan-on)

Laser have pros and cons

Ie: Laser requires usualy 2 car/operator
1 to laser and the other to chasse.. unlike there radar...

I see so Few of the SQ on our Highway so having to use 2 car insted of one seems unlogical... anyway im saving up for a Blinder+Veil 8)

how does Veil on Chrome? looks good?
