    Default Blinder m40 placement help!

    Hi,
Here are a few pictures of my car. (None of which are my actual car) My car is silver and no license plate frame up front. Anyways I was hoping some of you more knowledgeable guys could give me some advice as to where to place two heads in the front. Here are two links to pics of the front end.

In the bumper they are black metal mesh type inserts that clip in. I wouldn't want to modify them if at all possible because they are over $100 a piece :O
Thanks in advance for your help!

    Default No prob :)

    BiGDn2s,

Put the first two heads in the grill next to the mercedes symbol but spread them as far apart as you can. You want them as close to the head lights as you can get them. The other two sensors under your center bumper with each sensor on each side of the front TAG. those bottom sensors will be closer in then the other two in your Top grill.

So I will be placing 4 on the back rather than 2 front 2 back? Also are you sure that the blinders can see through the grill next to the MB sign?

Put all 4 heads up front!!!! Blinder heads on the rear of cars are way to week to jam from the rear, most jammers are.

I would minimumly put 3 heads up front. AND DO NOT PUT THE BLINDER HEAD BEHIND THAT GRILL THAT WILL MEAN JUST 2 OF YOUR HEADS ARE ACTUALLY JAMMING THE GUN!! I had a certified blinder installer install my blinder m20 heads behind a mesh grill and instant punchthrough..When I moved the heads lower I got enough time to slow down

I perfer the red locations over the yellow

Default mesh grill doesn't bother it.

    BiGDn2s,

Its totally up to you. My friends red mercedes SL500 in our video jammed the gun almost every run. His two M-25 heads were behind the black Mesh grill of his mercedes. It worked just fine. Here is my testing results of a new M25 laser jammer with the heads behind the mesh grill under the center bumper. Note: we did not think putting them behind the grill was a good Idea, as you will see it worked just fine. You can't even see them. There hidden so well.

Do you happen to have pictures of your friend's SL500 from close up? I would like to see if it is the same mesh. Nice vid btw. The mesh on my bumper looks pretty similar to this :
Do you think the jammer heads would work behind this?

    Default Grill

Here is my grill. As you can see the holes are pretty decent sized. As it gets further away from the center star, the holes progressively get smaller. I don't think there is enough room to fit a head right in between the bottom two legs of the star (blue). Which placement do you like better, high or low (green or red)? Also, yellow or black. Thanks for your help!

Default looks just like my friends Benz

    BiGDn2s

The first mesh grill that is gutter guard is what my friend has his blinder heads behind. They work great too. As for your upper grill I like the red because the holes are bigger. I didn't realize the holes got smaller as it got closer to the head lights. So to sum this up put the red ones exactly as you have them shown in the picture. But on the bottom mesh grill, put the other two sensors next to each fog light they will fit perfectly right next to each small Fog light. You can use glue instead of brackets for mounting the ones next to each Fog light. Those will cover the head lights. the red ones will cover the center shots taken at your benz!! Here is his other mercedes we tested. His name is shelton and he has 2 mercedes this one is the SLK55 AMG. He has his two sensors on this mercedes next to the small fog lights in front of the mesh grill.
