Depends on the vehicle I have found out that a Blinder M45 with 2 heads front and 2 heads rear is enough to cover a small car like a honda civic

Blinder M47 might be enough to cover the front and rear of midsize to large sedan but the only way to know is get your set-up tested

cool thanks for clearing that up.

So is it true they can't use lidar if they are moving? When I got hit he was behind me, and his lights were on almost instantly. People are saying that's not possible? I don't see why it wouldn't be, but then again I'm not anything near an expert in this stuff.

Maybe someone was f-ing you. When I borrowed a lidar gun, I would go around in my car with my buddy driving targeting cars with radar. I would do I/O with the lidar gun just to see the driver/passenger jump. In 1 case, a Leo was behind a car with an x50, we followed the car and cop while shooting lidar for at least a mile. That driver was like WTF. This is the reason why you should never own a lidar gun.

I have 2 new blinder heads coming for the rear of my F-150, this ought to give us an idea of which is better relatively speaking as I also have a dual LI with slim rear heads to do some comparison testing.
Valentine One (3.858 Ice Cream Truck, 3.812 in Vette)
4 Head LI (On Vette) (7.11 CPU Regular heads front, HP Heads on the rear)
    9500ci (On Vette)

LI Quad (On Ice Cream Truck)

LI Dual (On SRX, 7.06 CPU)

ProLaser II, ProLaser III, Stalker LZ-1, LTI Marksman & Laser Atlanta "R" (looking for an Ultralyte LRB)

    2008 Corvette Z-51 Coupe

    Escort 9500 ix (Cadillac SRX)
