I have a prolaser II to test against your m27 installation

I have a costumer with the same car but he installed a Alg9 rx
it jam 100% the prolaser II and the trafipatrol xr

the blinder m27 only show jammer code of trafipatrol xr in close range.

also here in chile the cops use the truspeed 2

Why? Are they made of some impenetrable kryptonite or something?

Sorry Bro, but this current install is just going to get you pwnt. No way will it work consistently. The heads are nowhere near the vulnerable parts of your car. If you drive a BMW, you have to either cut your grille or run an LI HP for consistent performance. There is no other option.
I didn't cut the grill on my BMW either. My LI Quad was installed in the same grill location as ddd269 but further apart, closer to the fog lamps. The installer does a lot of LIs, and said it was not necessary to use grill placement.

Does anyone have photos of a BMW with LIs (or Blinders) installed in a cut grill?

It doesn't matter how many installs he does. It matters how much testing he does! And I suspect he has done zero testing, or he'd know better.

Fair comment. So what do you suggest? What needs to be cut?

Listen to people who test, not people who make a living doing the simplest possible install.

    What needs to be cut?
Horizontal mounting slats cut into the upper outer corners of the kidney grilles.

The bottom line is that you either care about how it works or how it looks. You can't have it both ways with a BMW.

I had a difficult time finding much information about installs on BMWs. The ones I did find were all in the same place as mine currently. Maybe professional installers don't like to do anything that alters the cars' cosmetics. It's a shame BMW gives no consideration to laser jammers in designing the front ends.

Ironically, that applies to many of the so-called "performance" cars that are popular with driving enthusiasts. But yeah, both installers and owners of these cars don't like to cut. Can't say I blame them, but the fact remains that there is really no way around it for competent protection.

Thanks for the advice. I will have to look into it. Installed LIs are hardly inexpensive, so you want them to be most effective.
