Given the option, if Blinder or any company was willing to put up the cash for the ticket, I'd use the cash to fight it, and if the outcome was a WIN, I'd personally send a check back to the company who honored the pay your ticket program.

Guys up north report prices being a lot steeper. But here in Texas, there are lots of lawyers who do nothing but fight tickets, and only charge fifty-bucks or so. Of course, it will often still cost you a couple hundred in probation fees, but it's easily worth it for no conviction.
