Scuffed Lenses

Howdy!
Just got my M20, but I noticed one of the lenses is slightly scuffed, most likely due to the postage.
It's nothing serious but I was wondering if you could buff it out with some plastic polish? Would that affect the output also?

Well most of the lens covers have very minor imperfections. If you just have some minor buff marks and/or scratches don’t worry about it

It is the deep scratches or pitting of the lens that you need to be concerned about
