2011 F350 w/ M47

Hi -

I am looking for suggestions on head placement for a M47 setup on my F-350. The vehicle does have the "chrome package" so the front is definitely not ideal for LIDAR protection. Additionally, the mirrors have the upper half forward facing area chrome as well.

Any tips/suggestions on "ideal" placement for maximum protection would be appreciated.

Wow that's going to be tough to protect with even 4 blinders. Your truck is essentially a rolling mirror. I think others would agree that an LI quad or LI high power is the way to go.

wowzers thats a lot of chrome! Thats gonna be a fun one to work on. id say your best bet is to mock everything up and have a laser gun handy...its gonna take a lot of testing haha
Maybe top outer grille next to the turn signal part of the headlight and maybe outer bottom grille might be a good starting point?

As an aside, nice lookin retrofit. I think those are the same shrouds I have on mine

WOW that is a huge grill with lots of chrome. Hopefully you can find something that'll work for you. It might cost ya a pretty penny, but if you give me a call I'd be sure to try and work something out for you to protect something like that would be awesome

You should get some M74s for that huge thing, you would have to pay for 2 cpu's is the only downside you could have 8 jammers on 2 cpu's if you needed to throw a couple on the back for some rear protection assuming its not as chromed out.

Chrome isn't as reflective as people make it out to be 1 would be more worried about the license plate with the reflectivity comparison

Personally I would go with my green suggestion

Blinder M47 all up front or Laser Interceptor regular dual will get the job done
