Hp-905 Mounted vertical how much protection loss?

I know the preferred method for best protection is horizontal, but for those of us with waterfall grills how much protection do we lose by mounting vertically? How about a video test with a vertical installation?

They will fail miserably unless designed with a vertically polerized diode like LI has done with the "BMW edition".
Perhaps Blinder will come out with that sometime in the future.

Thanks for the heads up on the LI BMW version.Looks like thats what i need to get the same coverage as those with the horizontal installation..

In testing the 905 you do loose some protection with the vertical install but not as much as you think.
We will be doing some video in the next few weeks showing the performance of the vertical install with the 905 as is.
As far as the future for Blinder, it will be fast and furious. Denmark is on fire gentlemen!

According to Radar Roys review he says that the heads mounted vertically are only a small loss, which is pretty interesting.
