    :?

    Hello,

Ok, my 4.3 was running rough at idle, poured a can into the tank and now it seems lots better. Will do the carb next time and see how it goes.

Great stuff, was on sale at autozone.

    Take care,

look for your brake booster... there should be a big 3/4inch hose sticking out of it... disconnect that with the car running but cover up the hose a little so it doesnt die.. then just let the hose suck in small amounts of the seafoam at a time... when the engine starts to die pull it out...

Ive heard TONS about this stuff. My only question is how long do the results last? does it need to be applied after every tank/other tank or does it just slowly get worse and you do it after 50k?

Well, it works by cleaning the gunk/carbon/sludge out of your engine, so how long it lasts depends on how long it takes for the gunk/carbon/sludge to start building up again. You could do it once a year, or every 20K miles or so, as a preventative measure, or just do it when you notice things aren't running as smooth as they could.

What's cool is you can put seafoam in your gas tank to clean out your fuel lines/injectors, in your oil to clean out the sludge (drive it for 100 miles or so then CHANGE your oil and filter), or suck it in through a vacuum line to get the carbon build-up out of your manifolds, valves and cylinders.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
