unfortunately the Version of the STi tested was the UK one with just a 2.0 not the american 2.5.

The Evo8 and that generation STI is what i want..

An older guy would look awkward as hell in an STI. Let him get the z06. There aren't many people out there that would contest the z06 stock for stock for any other car in the price range...

I got a ride in a friend's 2006 WRX. It had the 2.5L and an STi turbo, headers, exhaust, big @ss TMIC, tune...

Anyways, he had it tuned so that he gets full boost (17.5 PSI) at 4300 RPM. When that boost kicked in, my head just snapped back :twisted: Fastest car I have ever been in. 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and runs 12's in the 1/4 mile.

But, I definitely agree that your dad should get the Vette. STi's just aren't very comfortable if you aren't stick-thin and a Vette is much more "appropriate" for an older gentleman.
