I've actually had one of these as a fish once. Surprising keep up power. I only wish it were lower to the ground.

New BMWs won't last you 200k!!!! All german and european cars are pissing me off service wise. The new stuff coming from europe usually last for 3 years then major problems occur

If you want something that will go to 200k I get something japanesse. As diehard volvo fan I am, after dealing with this car's computer 3 times giving me problems I am going to move to either a trusty 6cyc cherokee or something japanesse. 07 STi would be nice but i would also take an s2000

I agree with the G35 suggestion especially in terms of reliability and comfort compared to domestic / German models. If you want no-hassle maintenance and build quality you go with japanese (and Buick, LoL).

Honda/Acura hasn't built a real sports car since the NSX.
Toyota/Lexus, despite the undisputed quality, cannot build a sports car (we'll see about the LF-A or IS-F Gen 2).

So, Nissan/Infinity takes the cake. If the G35 doesn't have enough pep for you, there's always the M45 That care is a nice terror.

Um this is how European cars always have been, they will go to 200k, you just need to be a woman and be dating a guy named "Rolf" who is a specialist mechanic

Actually I like public transportation. But the rail system here can only get me to my favorite bar, the stadiums and a couple of restaurants. That's about it. It would be pretty bada$$ if ran out to SugarLand.

Yeah but it will cost you more than you spent on the car on maintenance.... oil change @3000 miles - $1000/pop, oil filter - $1000, valve job on the engine every 20k -> $1500, fix oil leaks on the valve covers and such bianually -> $1000 at least

It's not a Toyota or a Chevy or something that will go to 200k without even changing the oil

But when you take one through the twisties, it doesn't run like a Toyota or a Chevy either

    Neither,

Sell the Vette and sell the boat because the depreciate. Both are the worst things you can throw your money on.

Get a Mazda 3 or a Honda Civic for the commute, at 35MPG they are fun to drive and great on gas.

Take the 45 grand you would have saved by not buying the Beamer and money you got for the Vette and invest in Land and Antiques. (NOT HOUSES but Undeveloped LAND)

In 10 years you will be in very good shape.

Your mom is right, you should listen to her.
