LOL, no. But we all know that Gentiles drive their cars very gentle to get as high gas mileage as possible to save money. But now that is it going to be driven by a heretic, that baby is going to be driven like it was built to be used!

Since I so rarely drive her in-anger, and since she's a true daily-driver - where the local roads are so restrictive in terms of speed limits (and heavily enforced) - I've found that a little bit of aural guilty-pleasure makes the drive a lot more entertaining and pleasurable....and also keeps me out of trouble, by serving as a live reminder of exactly how much I'm on the throttle and boost

With kids driving I think that is good too. They can be cool without going fast. I like the balance between a nice rumble when you go WOT yet still have the civilized quietness to enjoy the stereo just cruising along on your daily business.

I actually can't wait until they come out with the "sound systems" for Hybrids/EVs - that should spice things up a bit, for those who drive such vehicles.

And we just shake our heads at your "ricer fly-by."

It may be Bangle-ized, but there's not a grain of rice in an M6.

You don't need to be driving a riced-up Civic to do a Ricer Fly-By; all that needs to happen is for the other guy to stop trying to race you so you can catch up.

And let's face it, a 500HP M6 isn't going to be passing any Z06 or ZR-1 Corvettes unless the Corvette driver isn't racing.

I think that's a really common belief about 3-series drivers. I know some people call them a-hole mobiles. Sometimes the SUV, too. (That's one reason I looked for an alternative...)

I've never heard anything about the 5- or 7- series, or any of the z's, though.

I have noticed that 3 series drivers NEVER, EVER yield the left lane to a faster car.

I've noticed that the most courteous drivers seem to drive those hideous crossover vehicles (Murano, Pacifica, etc.). I really hate the look of those things, but the drivers sure are nice! They go out of their way to get right.

A modified M6 would have its hands full with a stock Z06 any day of the week. Those d@mn things trap 125-130 mph stock and if your skilled, you'll be able to rip up a "real track" too. ZR1 is in another league.

In theory, Vettes are one of the fastest cars on the road.

In reality, they are usually driven by 65+'s holding up traffic. But at least they are rarely in the left lane (where the 3-series drivers are holding up traffic while talking on their cell phones....)
