My tactics? I find a spot with a clear view of the stretch of road that I am checking speed on then I wait. In this case I was sitting under Parmer lane overpass on North Mopac facing south checking northbound traffic.

    Hope this helps.

Come to Atlanta and cull the heard. I've heard LEO's here describe shooting laser on 285 as picking antelope out of a giant heard. You get one and the other 2000 just spped up and move on.

My concern : what will be the reaction of this driver ?

    My guess :

    1) he wont speed and wave for a long time .

    2) he will get more infos and install dedicated cms ,
    then pursuit his behavior.

Are we not returning to the same point ?

Do speed enforcement , as we know now , should be re-think ?

I dont say that this driver did'nt merit this ticket ....speeding/weaving
during rushhour ...bad behavior in my book.

On the other side , doing the same speed @ 2 am during good conditions
is hammering the wrong nail ...got caught this manner , by radar i/o....
and it only prooves me that I have to upgrade my stategy !

Sneaky tactics... for Pete's sake, the man publicly posts when and where he will be in a given location doing speed enforcement and sometimes his equipment in use...

What more do you want from him?

It would be very hard to not get caught speeding while laser is being used, unless a jammer is being used. So to me it would be common sense that he catches those speeders and it wouldn't matter what brand radar detector got caught. Now if he was posting detailed info on how he caught speeders while using radar then I would be paying attention.

So you want to be a LEO to give everyone citations for speeding? Nice...after you have been using a detector and other tactics trying to avoid them and now you're going to "bag" people. You are a hypocrite and an asshole. Delete your account immediately, and I sure as hell hope you don't become a cop.
