Default Bagged a Cobra today. Interesting stop.

I was sitting on "The Knoll" checking northbound when I tagged a silver car heading northbound on Mopac going 84mph. I was just about to pounce when I saw, coming up behind it, anonther car going about the same speed. I tagged him, a two tone dodge charger, at 83mph.

I came off the hill and into traffic. As I raced to catch up I noticed that the silver car, turned out to me a Mazda two door, had slowed and moved into the middle lane. As I passed I motioned to the Mazda to "follow me" and proceeded to catch up to the charger. I got them BOTH pulled over, a two-fer, and after dealing with the mazda, he "wasn't paying attention", I went to make contact with the Charger. On his dash sat a Cobra Radar/laser detector. I asked him if it alerted and he stated that it didn't. I told him that he needed to let his rabbit get a little further ahead of him. He started laughing at that stating that I was a good shot not to have alerted his detector.

I mentioned the websight and he stated that he was suprised that I would be knowlegable about that. He stated that he even knew Radar Rob.

He was a nice enough guy and I hope he signs on.

    Yes, he got a citation(come on....really)

Good evening Fritter nice to hear from you. I must ask the obvious - did Mr. "I wasnt paying attention" but no RD going 1MPH faster get a signed receipt also? Be safe. Thanks!

Now that you're reporting RDs by make the Cobra Fail list is starting to fill up. Still, even with a premium detector he would probably have no warning, just an alert to start pulling over. Congratz on your two-fer although I don't personally approve of the practice. ;-)

By the way, be on the lookout for a Li equipped Audi S5 tooling around Austin the weekend of September 11th. That's my friend DaveNDallas and although hilarious he's a real ahole and gving me a ton of crap about my new *****.

On second thought, nevermind that would be abuse of power.

Fritter, you ever been "bagged" when off duty?

Personally, I'm bag proof....mainly cause I drive like granny (in the car).
    LEO's aren't interested in vehicles doing 65 in a 70.

I refuuuuuze to feed the monster (govt)

So why an RD ? It was for the bike. And just for the fun of it while traveling.

we need to create a master thread of all Fritter's loot. Counting all the RDs and CM set ups. No surprise cobra would be leading, but he is using laser.
