sorry folks that the author of this personal test seems to believe the Cobra isn't quite "crap"
I will have to complain to him about this !
For $300 I sure hope it isn't as bad as the $35 versions.
Untill I see some legit testing to prove otherwise,Cobra = wal-mart crap....period.
BTW you can get the version tested for 140 dollars now. It's not 300 anymore.
I shouldn't tell you this but all the other detector testors met every year with the rd manufacturers to fix their tests and the prices of detectors. The one with the most cash to bribe the testers is made the winner.
apparently Cobra doesn't like to pay too much bribery money out.
Probably because they manufacturer much more things then detectors.
I don't care for the review because he wrote that he used each for several weeks but couldn't get a handle on their sensitivity/performance until he ran them side by side, when there is no doubt interference.
I can't use my high end RDs at the same time because of interference.
This was a very very basic review that doesn't teach a potential buyer of either product anything at all.
Read the one and only comment that was posted.
That model Cobra may not interfere too much but it is still there and shouldn't be done in a review. The only two that I will run together is the Redline/V1 and interference does sometimes happen, which is why I don't view them together as a competition with a "winner".
