Next GoL Test?

Just wondering when the next GoL meet is supposed to be? There's a lot of new products out there that don't really have any concrete test results. I'm not sure where you guys meet, but hopefully it's close enough that I can attend (hopefully I have m47s on my truck by then).

there is a GOL section, but it doesn't appear to be soon.

Well, too bad it isn't soon. I'd love to see some concrete test results on the Redline, new V1 versions, STI-R (+), LI HPs, M47s, etc. etc.

Neither the date nor the location are public information. GoL isn't in the business of testing your set-up. They test products, not set-ups. And to prevent attempts at sabotage, as others have done in the past, they are conducted with no notice or public invitation. Impartial observers are, however, always present to call BS, should they feel the need.

What you are looking for is a set-up testing meet, of which there are many taking place across the country. They are announced in the Laser Jammer and Local Information forums, not the Radar Detector forum.

I was not as concerned with "testing my set-up" as just attending, meeting some of the people, and watching the results. I can understand why you might want to keep the testing private, it's just too bad everyone can't attend. It looks like fun.

For testing my own set-up I definitely plan on finding someone as close as possible with the proper equipment. From what I understand there are plenty in Texas.

That's the only way, GOL and the rest of the tests out there only give you part of the picture.

Really? Are you confident in that V1 statement? I can only assume you have some inside information that they will be testing a grip of 3.872's with Ka guard off then.

We will test again. I need happya$$'s mom to give me break so i can get some free time for a GOL event, but she loves it too much.
