[video] Redline Ka fail off axis

Redline fail at picking up Ka band radar. I know he was at a 90 degree angle to the road, but it still didn't alert until after I saw him. Using a low-powered gun maybe?

I turned around to get another pass, but it didn't alert at all. Either he turned it off as soon as i Passed him, or it came from another source. But I didn't see any other LEOs...

I had a similar encounter tonight. If a LEO is shooting radar at 90 degrees not only will it show no speed on his unit, you will get an alert like that.

This video is fake the RedLine is the supposed king of off axis Ka!!!

Just shows you that no matter how good a detector is, you should always run 2. The V1 would have told you miles in advance.

Fail? Heck no! Darn good pick up with no reflections off to the right side showing, darn good, not low powered. Beats the heck out of my V1......

With the slow filter time you are luck it even alerted..

Maybe that was a qt shot. And with a qt against a redline, you flip a coin and maybe it will catch and maybe it wont...

I'm pretty sure it was constant. It ramps up a bit as I pass him.

It was disabled at the time (I only turn it on when I'm going on the interstate). Plus, that shouldn't affect Ka band anyway...

Dude, You are getting fuller and fuller of BS every day. When you just had Whistlers you were tolerable, but since you got a V1 you're very, very annoying.

Alex, I swear that if he had been facing the same way you were headed, you would have had better range than you got at 90*!
