Mount High or Low

I've already mounted my detector low ( just above the Wipers ) and I keep hearing that High is better. I have done a great deal of research into this and looked at the manufactures recommendations. Escort says to mount mid windshield or lower while V1 says to mount High. I'm not really sure what to think on this issue. What I would like to do is get a lot of input from you guys on this forum then make a decision I feel would best protect me. So lets discuss this: " Mount High, Mount Low " ......

From what I have come to understand.
High = Better Radar coverage
Low = Better Laser coverage
