Did you try to reset it? Any Self-cals/Service Req's?
It is possible that you have a noisy electrical system, running any (many) accesories at the time?
But normally it just doesnt start out of nowhere. Try unpluging the X50 from the car, and try it in another one.
Did it do this on the way back?
were you driving by an airport? they make the x50 false like all hell
airports seem to make all detectors false a LOT... my v1, whistler, older escort etc... all about the same...
None of the above, just started yesterday morning
