Yes, Lake Placid runs with their Radar on KA (I have the frequency written down), as do the State Police. Saranac Lake does NOT run with their radar on. Perhaps they do not have in-car radar, only hand-held. I'll have to ask my friend on the force next time I see him.

I was wondering if anyone would notice the toy cars. They came in some cereal and just ended up there at some point. I've also got two Speed Racer vehicles that I haven't placed on the dash yet!

I'm a car-gadget freak, my dashboard also has quite a few gauges, switches, etc. It's not a far stretch that I really like your dash.

Those blue ones are awfully bright.

I had a "bank" of such switches in one of my DSMs, and the blue ones were horribly glary, even in the center console, below eye-level, it still burned away at night!

Yes, the blue light is very bright , but it is low on the dash and out of my general field of vision. Mostly, it is hidden by the steering wheel so not too much of a bother. Plus, I like that it matches the blue display of my RD. I might have to hit it with the same sharpie permanent marker that I used on the directwire remote display LEDs!
