9500i vs. 9500ix

Not bad, now you can upgrade it to an ix at a lator date and spend less, but also have a red display.

They currently swap out the displays. Mine is going in red and supposed to come back blue.

if you ask them maybe, but there might be an extra charge, I asked and they told me if I send them a red one, it will come back red.

Did you ever turn X band and POP off on your V1? What kind of falses did you get(XbandKband etc). Did you play with settings much or not?

Mine just came back from the upgrade and it still is red, which is okay with me as the blue is hard to see if the detector has any sunlight on it.

They do change the exterior case as well to say 9500ix instead of 9500i.

He stated in his first post the V1 had to many falses. So I was questioning him on if he ever toyed with the settings. I'm just inquiring for my own research. I don't own a V1 so I'm not a Zombie coming in here to say WELL YOu should of done this or thaT! I was just asking...Comprende?

no i didnt mess with any of the settings. i feel that a product should come out of the box ready to perform. the v1 obviously isnt a product like that
